Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven and flexible Maintenance Manager/Mechanic for our client in Järna. As a mechanic, it is important to be able to handle and solve a variety of tasks. Your main role will be to ensure that the facility's property, machinery, and vehicle fleet are in good working condition and to minimize downtime in the event of breakdowns. We expect you to take responsibility and actively participate in ensuring that all tasks are performed with the highest possible quality.

Job Responsibilities Related to the Position:

• Ensure that machines and vehicles are inspected and documented daily, and report to the responsible department as needed.
• As the person responsible for the warehouse, ensure that the right materials are available and that order is maintained in storage areas.
• Continuously monitor supplies and spare parts, ordering new ones as needed.
• Immediately report incidents, damages, deficiencies, and occupational safety risks to the responsible department.
• Manage scrap materials by ordering transports and optimizing recycling.
• Perform initial repair efforts for machinery or vehicle damages and contact external suppliers as needed.
• Plan and carry out long-term maintenance of machines and vehicles.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections of the facility's equipment and facilities.
• Assist with repairs and installations, and develop new solutions as needed.
• Train operators and drivers in the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Be responsible daily for cleaning and snow removal in the area using appropriate equipment.
• Collect statistics on costs, environmental impact, and consumables.
• Follow and implement the company's environmental policy and measures.

Competence Requirements for Specific Tasks:

• Required machine competence
