About the Position

We are currently looking for a couple of operational technicians in water and sewage.

  • Scope: Full-time 100%
  • Start: Immediately
  • Duration: 3-6 months, possibly longer (during the recruitment process)

You will be employed by Dreamwork but will work out at our client’s site.

Please note that the position involves a security clearance. You need to be a Swedish citizen and have no criminal record.

Your Main Responsibilities

In the VA Operations department, you as an operational technician will work in a unit where operational managers, process engineers, and operational technicians collaborate on everything from purification processes and operational optimization to corrective maintenance and inspections focused on sewage treatment plants.

You will also assist with material purchases and procurement of VA materials, among other things. In your role as an operational technician, you will have many contacts both internally and externally, so you should be easy to collaborate with and service-oriented. Participation in projects may occur as the group’s representative.

The position is characterized by responsibility, development, engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving. You will work with three sewage treatment plants, and the position also means that you will be part of the unit’s on-call duty.

Who Are You?

To be considered for the role, you need to meet the criteria below.

We are looking for someone with education in operational technology, environmental technology, or equivalent experience in VA or a similar technical field. You also have 3-5 years of work experience in sewage treatment plants, process industry, and heating plants.

You have a good technical understanding and practical experience of working with machines and processes. You should have good computer skills, be structured, flexible, technically interested, and engaged in your tasks. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.

  • Knowledge of Pumps, Electricity, and Energy Optimization
  • Knowledge of Wastewater Sampling
  • Knowledge of Self-Monitoring, Risk Analyses, and/or Emergency Water Planning
  • Sewage Directive
  • Knowledge in Chemistry and Microbiology
