Your role and responsibilities

At ABB in Alingsås, we develop and produce high-quality products used worldwide. As an assembler with us, you will play a key role in our manufacturing and become part of an engaged team that constantly strives to improve and develop our processes. Here, you will encounter an innovative and inclusive work environment where you can grow both professionally and personally.

  • Assemble products together with your colleagues according to set instructions and pace
  • Follow the control instructions that constitute quality control of the product
  • Work with 5S and preventive maintenance according to schedule
  • Take responsibility and contribute to achieving the department's goals
  • Work to improve the work environment in the department and the company as a whole
  • Be part of a flexible staffing and contribute where you are most needed
  • Be part of our ongoing Quality Wins initiative

Qualifications for the role

  • You have a high school education and basic eligibility combined with good experience from previous assembly work.
  • Experience and knowledge in automation and production technology is highly desirable.
  • Possession of forklift license A1-3, D1 & overhead crane training is considered an advantage
  • Good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form.
  • You are a team player who is good at collaborating and motivating others.
  • You follow the instructions and working methods established in Quality Wins.
