Psychiatry South Stockholm offers a PTP internship that provides both broad and deep experience in adult psychiatric operations. We are looking for you with a focus on CBT!

Job responsibilities

Half of the PTP psychologist's work involves clinical psychological work such as assessment, investigation, treatment, and counseling. Other psychological work is included with 25-50% of the working time. There is an opportunity to participate in ongoing research and development projects. We follow Region Stockholm's policy for PTP internships. You will participate in SLSO's PTP program with educational seminars as well as our internal training program.

Qualifications

You who are applying have a Swedish psychology degree with a focus on CBT at the start of PTP or have received a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare to carry out PTP. If you have a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare, it should be attached to the application. Previous experience in psychiatry or other relevant qualifications is an advantage.

The work requires good adaptability and the ability to plan and drive your work independently, even if you are under supervision. Employment form

Special fixed-term employment, we want you to work full-time during your 12-month service period. Start date 1/9 2026 or by agreement.

About the positions and units

Anxiety Clinic Rosenlund
The clinic conducts investigations, diagnoses, and treats anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD.

Psychiatric Investigation Clinic Rosenlund (PUM) & Neuropsychiatric Clinic Hagsätra (NPM)
PUM conducts investigations of psychiatric diagnoses as well as neuropsychiatric investigations with questions such as ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities. NPM conducts treatment of ADHD and/or autism as well as illness; including psychoeducation, group therapy, and pharmacological treatment. Positions are shared between two clinics to give you experience in both investigation and treatment.

Geriatric Psychiatry Clinic
The clinic receives patients in need of geriatric psychiatric specialist competence and conducts psychiatric assessment, investigation, and time-limited treatment.

Personality Disorder Clinic
The clinic receives patients with emotionally unstable personality disorder for psychiatric assessment, in-depth investigation, and treatment.

Nacka Specialist Psychiatry Clinic
General psychiatric outpatient clinic that investigates, diagnoses, and conducts evidence-based treatment based on SLSO's process maps.

Värmdö Specialist Psychiatry Clinic
General psychiatric outpatient clinic that investigates, diagnoses, and conducts evidence-based treatment based on SLSO's process maps.

Södermalm Specialist Psychiatry Clinic
General psychiatric outpatient clinic that investigates, diagnoses, and conducts evidence-based treatment based on SLSO's process maps.
