About the position

At the Traffic Medicine Clinic, we assess the medical conditions for driver's license eligibility for individuals with various diagnoses (for example, cognitive disorders, stroke, MS, Parkinson's disease). Patients' ages range from 20 to 98 years. You will be part of a small but highly productive team consisting of doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and administrative staff.

You will conduct neuropsychological assessments and report these in the form of written statements and certificates, as well as participate in multidisciplinary conferences.

As a psychologist at the Traffic Medicine Clinic, you will have an important role in the investigations conducted by the unit. You will collaborate closely with other professional categories to ensure that the patient's conditions for driver's license eligibility are assessed in the best possible way.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a genuine interest in neuropsychology and driver's license and mobility issues from an individual and societal perspective
  • enjoys working together with others. You relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively
  • takes responsibility for their own work. You independently structure your approach and drive your processes forward, ensuring that tasks are completed
  • makes correct assessments and priorities in your work. You weigh complex information and various considerations and demonstrate judgment in statements, actions, and decisions
  • has a good understanding of complicated linguistic materials, both spoken and written. You also have the ability to write and produce materials at the same high level.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed psychologist with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare
  • Experience in traffic medical assessments

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of the use of simulator testing regarding cognitive functions and driver's license eligibility
  • Advanced courses in neuropsychology, specialist training, or completed doctoral education
  • Driving license B
  • Knowledge of other languages.
