Are you an outgoing person who really enjoys working with people and service?

Varvet consists of three units under one roof. By the quay, we have our Bistro/café, offering street food from the farmer, from the garden, and from the sea, and of course, in a summer town, we have a section called cold as ice. Where are we located? In Norra Hamnen by the quay and right in the center square of Strömstad.

The Bistro has about 70 seats divided between indoors and two terraces. Here, table service is the only option, and you must have knowledge in this area. You should be used to working in a team and be able to handle stress. Naturally, you must be at least 18 years old since we serve alcohol. You should feel that you are there for the guests, be cheerful and positive regardless of the situation. You should also have a good understanding of the products served, restaurant economics, and self-control.

Since the days can become hectic with a high pace, it is important that everyone participates in teamwork. It is also important that you are stress-resistant. The requirement is that you master Swedish and Norwegian in speech since all tasks involve customer contact. We work with station division in all departments, but of course, we help each other out.

The period applies to the summer season 2026, from June 15 to August 9.
