Våxnäs Secure Housing Unit 1 is looking for nursing assistants!

At Våxnäs Secure Housing Unit 1, you will meet care recipients who have physical ailments (long-term somatic illnesses) and/or can no longer receive adequate care and support in their ordinary housing.

Our care recipients live in their own apartments and receive the support they need based on their assessed assistance needs – always with respect for the individual's wishes and self-determination.

We are looking for one to two nursing assistants for permanent employment, full-time with the possibility of part-time. With us, you will have the opportunity to help create a workplace where people are at the center – both care recipients and colleagues.

What does the job involve?

As a nursing assistant at Våxnäs Secure Housing Unit 1, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents. Your work will involve promoting well-being and providing care with respect and empathy, which requires good collaboration skills with both colleagues and care recipients.

Your main tasks include:

• Providing care and support in daily life
• Creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with residents
• Working independently but also in collaboration with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Adapting interventions based on individual needs and wishes
• Working with new methods and smart technology that simplify everyday life for both care recipients and staff.

Who are you?

You are a trained nursing assistant with experience in caregiving. To thrive in this role, we see that you are self-driven, proactive, and flexible. You have a strong sense of service and a good ability to build relationships, which contributes to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for the residents – and to a positive work environment with your colleagues.
