About the role

As a team leader/mechanic at Palfinger, you will play an important role in our service team, where you will both work practically and support the daily operations of the workshop. The role includes service, repair, and maintenance of our products, such as truck cranes, hydraulic systems, and other lifting solutions – both in the workshop and on-site with customers.

You will work closely with the workshop manager and other technicians. Part of the role involves planning, distributing tasks, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a smooth workflow. It is a role where you are involved in both troubleshooting, problem-solving, and coordination, with a focus on quality and operational reliability.

We are looking for someone who

To thrive in the role, we see that you have experience working as a mechanic or technician, preferably within the truck, construction, or lifting machinery industry. You have a good understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and electronics, and you enjoy a role that combines practical work with responsibility and structure.

You are solution-oriented, self-assured, and appreciate collaborating with others. You are proactive and can support the team when needed, while also being able to work independently when the situation requires it.

Other qualifications:

• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics
• High school education or technical training, or equivalent knowledge through experience
• Driver's license B (requirement)
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing heavy machinery is an advantage
• Fluent English is highly desirable
