About the Company

Chromafora is an innovation company in cleantech with unique patented and patent-pending technologies for water purification based on self-developed chemical processes: SELPAXT and SELMEXT.

Both technologies aim to remove pollutants and, with the help of selectivity, reduce waste volumes. SELMEXT removes heavy metals, while SELPAXT removes both short- and long-chain PFAS substances from water streams.

The SELMEXT process also helps to preserve critical raw materials by enabling the recycling and reuse of valuable metals, such as gold and other sought-after metals, from waste.

As of April 2025, Chromafora's headquarters and chemical lab will be located in Västberga, Stockholm.

About the Role

In the role of Operations/Service Technician at Chromafora, you will have a varied and independent daily life where you work closely with the company's advanced and innovative facilities for water purification and metal extraction – both in Sweden and across Europe. Chromafora's technology is based on self-developed chemistry and groundbreaking solutions, making the work both exciting and meaningful.

As an Operations/Service Technician at Chromafora, you will play a central role in ensuring the operation of our technical systems and facilities. The work includes a wide range of tasks – from troubleshooting and repairs to service and preventive maintenance. You will also be responsible for conducting sampling, inspections, and calibrations, as well as identifying and addressing technical deviations. The role also includes planning and ordering spare parts and having a good overview of what is required to quickly and effectively handle various operational challenges.

The role also requires careful documentation and communication to ensure efficient and quality-assured operations over time.

Travel is a natural part of the job, with about 50–100 overnight stays per year. You will work at facilities around Sweden, Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium – and sometimes also in other parts of Europe.

You will be based at Chromafora's new, modern office but will spend a significant amount of time in the field with customers.

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant technical education in operational technology, service technology, or similar.

• Experience working in a process environment, e.g., in property management, industry, or swimming facilities – where you have built an understanding of how technical systems are interconnected.

• A strong interest in environmental technology – you want to contribute to a more sustainable future.
