The Norslund/Svärdsjö healthcare center is now looking for a first-line manager who will play a significant role in developing the future healthcare center. The position is located in Svärdsjö, and you will be the manager of the medical team consisting of general practitioners and training doctors at various levels, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, and nurses/district nurses. The Svärdsjö healthcare center currently has 25 employees and approximately 5000 registered patients. Together with your three managerial colleagues at the Norslund/family center Elsborg, MLA, operations manager, and staff, you will drive the development and change work of the operations and work to create a well-functioning work environment at the healthcare center.

First-line manager for Norslund/Svärdsjö healthcare center, located in Svärdsjö Job Responsibilities

As a first-line manager, you have personnel, budget, work environment, and operational responsibility. The responsibility also includes staffing and patient safety work to ensure the daily operations at the healthcare center. This broad responsibility requires you to work independently and be confident in your decisions as well as decisions in line. In the role of first-line manager, there are demands for innovative thinking and your ability to engage, stimulate, and lead your employees. You do this, among other things, by creating participation and utilizing and developing the skills and strengths present in the staff groups. You strive to be available as a manager and actively contribute with engagement, humor, and knowledge to create a good working climate. We see you as one of the key persons in the management group. You report directly to the operations manager, and we expect your sense of responsibility and commitment to also be part of the work for the whole within primary care.

We value your ability to see the big picture and that you can translate visions and goals into reality. You can argue for your case but are also receptive and unpretentious. Through your qualities, you have the prerequisites to confidently lead the way for your employees through the development towards good and close care.

The management and leadership program in Region Dalarna offers you, as a new manager in Region Dalarna, a secure handrail at the beginning of your role as a manager and leader with us. In addition, there are experienced support functions within finance and HR, as well as an open climate between healthcare centers. The position entails a temporary managerial appointment with a permanent employment in the base profession.

Requirements:

• University degree in health and medical care
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Experience in primary care
• Management background in health and medical care
• Education in leadership
