Job Responsibilities

Are you looking for a summer job and available between June 1 - August 31? Then you have the chance to work as a finance assistant at our facilities in the Leisure Administration! We are looking for summer substitutes for the following facilities: Bulltofta Motion Center, Torup Outdoor Recreation Area, and Hylliebadet Café.

As a finance assistant at our facilities, you will be involved in selling training cards, cash handling, preparing simple dishes, leading training groups, managing bookings, and cleaning and maintaining our facilities to ensure they are clean and tidy for visitors.

Depending on where you are placed, the tasks may vary to suit the operation.

Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

Qualifications

Those interested in the positions should have a high school diploma. You should also have work experience deemed relevant for the positions, such as experience working in a café, gym, or with wellness. Having a B driver's license for a manual car is considered an advantage.

Since the computer is an important work tool for us, good IT skills are a prerequisite for the positions. Likewise, you should have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. Additional language skills are an advantage.

To thrive in our facilities, you are a person who gains energy from providing good service and spreading joy to both visitors and colleagues. Meeting our visitors and providing service to them is something you feel comfortable with. You have a genuine interest in people with different backgrounds, the ability to handle people, and always act as a good ambassador. Being able to work under stress during certain periods is something you can handle and enjoy.

About the Workplace

The workplace - Leisure Administration's Bath Unit

In the Leisure Administration's Bath Unit, five baths are operated - Hylliebadet, Rosengårdsbadet, Simhallsbadet, Oxievångsbadet, and Öresund Funkis.

The ambition is for the baths to together offer the more than 800,000 Malmö residents who visit us annually a variety of activities and events. The hallmark of the employees who work at the baths is the willingness and drive to create, develop, and realize an operation where the Malmö resident is in focus.

In the Bath Unit, there are also recreational facilities Bulltofta Motion Center and Torup Outdoor Recreation Area. The facilities include a gym, café, and sauna operated by the staff. In both areas, we work to provide Malmö residents with the conditions for a healthy leisure time focused on wellness and outdoor life.

Swimming ability is a requirement for all employees in the bath unit. Therefore, a swimming test will be conducted in conjunction with the interview. Once the swimming test is completed, no weight will be placed on how well the test was performed, but emphasis will be placed on the interview and personal suitability.

Since employees in the Leisure Administration's bath unit come into contact with children and young people, a criminal record extract will need to be presented if employment is relevant.
