We are looking for a chef for the Bistro at Torekov Hotel.
About us
Torekov Hotel is a personal and welcoming destination located at the far end of the Bjäre Peninsula, where the sea, nature, and food are at the center. Guests meet here year-round for relaxation, spa, conferences, and memorable culinary experiences – always with quality, care, and presence as guiding principles. In the Bistro, food is an obvious part of the whole. We work based on the seasonal offerings and choose our ingredients with great care. As neighbors and friends of the local farmers and food producers, we let locally sourced ingredients make up the majority of what we serve and set the tone for our menu. The Bistro is a lively meeting place from morning to evening, all year round, where hotel guests, conference groups, and local visitors meet in a warm and relaxed environment. We are a positive and engaged team with high ambitions regarding quality and service, aiming to always create a fantastic product and experience for our guests. Torekov Hotel is part of GRAM Group, which, together with Hotel Skansen, Hotel Riviera Strand, and the restaurants Mamas Italian, Papas, Pepe’s Bodega, and PAVO, constitutes three distinctive hotels and several restaurants in an outstanding destination in Båstad and on the Bjäre Peninsula.
About the position
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Working hours vary, and both day, evening, and weekend shifts are included. Flexibility and a positive attitude are therefore crucial. Salary and start date according to agreement.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a culinary education or several years of experience in the kitchen
- Has a genuine interest in cooking
- Can handle both the hot and cold sections
- Is knowledgeable about special diets and allergies
- Has a strong sense of quality
- Can work independently and in a team to achieve personal and company goals
- Is a social, cheerful, energizing, and communicative person
- Is organized and enjoys a fast-paced environment
Your main tasks
- Cooking, including cold kitchen, hot kitchen, and desserts
- Preparation of dishes
- Be part of creating new dishes and contribute to an exciting menu

Each room and suite has its own terrace, the Bistro serves locally sourced and preferably organic food, and the tennis courts and outdoor gym invite outdoor training. The hotel is part of GRAM Group, and of course, the entire hotel is Swan-labeled.
