Friday is seeking a test engineer on behalf of our client who wants to work with hardware testing in the space industry. The test section in Gothenburg consists of around 11 people who support the entire operation within testing and verification, primarily focusing on hardware tests with testing of prototypes and new testing equipment.

In the role of test engineer, you will work with tests before delivery to the customer, as well as with material and process qualifications for development projects and future products. You will work in a cleanroom production environment and be part of a highly skilled team where you collaborate to achieve common goals. Your main focus will be to test and verify digital and microwave products to ensure they meet customer requirements.

You will, for example:

• Test and verify hardware, both digital and electrical, as well as RF testing of boards and devices
• Analyze and report test results
• Work to continuously improve and streamline processes
• Support in troubleshooting and deviation management

• Has a vocational education as an electronics engineer, or:
• Has equivalent experience working with testing of circuit boards
• Is technical and enjoys hands-on work, such as soldering or assembling and disassembling technical products
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previously worked in a similar role
• Have experience with and knowledge of IFS/SAP or similar business systems
• Have knowledge of Lean Production
• Have hobby projects in electronics involving soldering and testing

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. The employment is time-limited and extends over 6 months with the possibility of extension.

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, require specific citizenship.
