About us We at RISE are now looking for a Junior Technical Project Manager for our Measurement Technology operations in Borås. Here are our labs and the entire team within the Volume and Flow unit, which you will belong to. We are a team of 14 people consisting of Project Managers, Measurement Engineers, and Researchers. You will be part of a close-knit and dedicated team where we value community, support each other, and have fun together.

RISE Measurement Technology is the national center for quality-assured measurement technology. We develop new ways to measure both classical quantities and new, more behavior-related methods in collaboration with industry and society.

About the role The Volume and Flow unit performs calibration, testing, and research projects related to liquid-based flow technology for, among others, the process industry. As a Junior Technical Project Manager, your tasks will include driving and executing technical projects. Primarily direct customer assignments but also internal development projects.

The role also involves a lot of practical hands-on work in our technical labs. You will work with testing technical equipment to ensure it meets certain standards. You will coordinate and work together with technical colleagues, both researchers and engineers. We will offer you long-term training with an experienced Project Manager as a mentor. There is great freedom to shape and develop the role. There is also the opportunity to work more broadly at RISE with, for example, electrical testing and climate testing.

Who are you? We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering education for the role, such as in mechanical engineering, electronics, or another engineering discipline with a technical focus. You have some form of measurement technology background from education or work life. You may be a recent graduate with a strong curiosity and desire to learn new things, or you may have a few years of experience in measurement technology or similar work. We will adapt the role's tasks and responsibilities based on your experiences and knowledge.

It is advantageous if you have experience in project management or coordination of technical customer projects or development projects within, for example, the process industry. Experience in electronics, electricity, and calibration is advantageous, as well as knowledge of quality-oriented work and requirements based on technical standards. A background in HVAC or calibration is a significant advantage. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We would like you to be able to switch between a holistic and detailed perspective and have the ability to quickly understand new contexts and issues. You have a good technical understanding and good communication and collaboration skills. You are driven by a natural curiosity and enjoy new challenges. Taking initiative comes naturally to you.
