SKF Coupling Systems is part of SKF Sverige AB and our factory is located in Hofors. We are world leaders in the field of "rigid shaft couplings", hydraulic bolts, and tensioners.

Our main customer segments are power generation industry, steam and gas turbines, and shipbuilding industry.

About the position

In this role, you will work practically and technically with assembly, testing, and service of hydraulic couplings, bolts, and bolt tensioners. The work includes both standalone units and complete systems where electrical and mechanical solutions are included. You will also get to work with custom constructions and tailored solutions, ensuring a varied and developing workday. Additionally, more product lines from our broad portfolio are included.

The role means that you are an important technical support – both for our assemblers and for management – which means that your work has a significant impact on the organization.

About you

In addition, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical interest and at least 3-5 years of experience working in industry, for example as a mechanic, hydraulic technician, or assembler of some kind.
• Has good knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques
• Previous experience in mentoring
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• Cranes and forklift licenses are advantageous
• Is quality-conscious, a driven problem-solver, and enjoys technical challenges
• Can work under time pressure and has a strong desire to develop
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. French is a plus.
