Job Description

You will play a very important role within Västtrafik's Integration Center, supporting projects, administrations, and development teams in integration matters. You will help develop patterns for all forms of data exchange and ensure that the Integration Center can assist involved parties in realizing integrations and data exchange in a smooth, secure, scalable, manageable, and future-proof manner.

You contribute to ensuring that the integration platforms have the right capabilities to support Västtrafik's operations. This is achieved through the selection and implementation of technical solutions, often by developing them yourself.

You need to have a very good ability to understand the requirements from stakeholders and be able to formalize solutions from these in a structured way. You should be able to contribute to architectural decisions and possess a strong technical knowledge and interest. Västtrafik's Integration Center consists of few, but very competent employees and consultants. You are expected to work well in a team and be able to independently take responsibility for all your work, as well as realize your own solutions, both in the form of strategic and architectural documents and descriptions, as well as in implementations and management of these.

Mandatory Requirements

• Several years (at least 5 years) of experience as a senior developer or specialist within an Integration Center.
• Very good knowledge of Integration Architecture, patterns, and security.
• Several years (at least 8 years) of experience in Java development.
• Ability to document and describe solutions verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• Very good knowledge and practical experience with integration platforms: 
  • Active MQ
  • WSO2 API Manager
  • WSO2 Micro-Gateway
  • Progress MOVEit Automation / Transfer
• Very good knowledge of API design & development:
  • REST
  • Open-API
  • Async-API
• Very good knowledge of architectural modeling.
• Very good knowledge of development with: 
  • Quarkus
  • GraalVM
  • Apache Camel
• Good knowledge and practical application of Container technology:
  • Openshift
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm
  • Argo CD
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • Loki
  • Jaeger

Desirable Competencies

• Documented experience in designing, implementing, and managing MQTT-based messaging solutions.
• DevOps techniques and platforms:
  • Jenkins
  • Git
  • Identity platform: WSO2 Identity Server
• Experience in application development/architecture: 
  • Frontend: NodeJS/VueJS
  • Backend: Spring/SpringBoot
  • Database: MSSQL
• Good knowledge of DevSecOps principles:
  • DAST / SAST tools
  • Threat modeling
  • WAF / Firewall configurations
