About the role

As service staff at Norrbyskär Museum, you will primarily work with classic service tasks in our restaurant – serving food and drinks, welcoming guests, and contributing to a pleasant and professional dining experience.

The restaurant is part of the island's whole, where history runs like a common thread. In your interactions with our guests, you may also share simple stories about Norrbyskär's history and daily life, and if necessary, participate in daily train tours around the island.

This position is suitable for those who thrive in the service profession. Previous experience in serving is an advantage, but we place great importance on personal commitment and the desire to provide our guests with a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serving food and drinks with a focus on service and guest interaction.
• Opening and closing the museum & restaurant.
• Driving our mini train around the island.
• Dish collection & cleaning.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in serving.
• An interest in history and storytelling.
• A natural hospitality and a positive attitude.
• The ability to collaborate and contribute to a good team spirit.
• A desire to see every guest and create a welcoming overall experience.

Practical information

Seasonal work, summer 2026.

Working hours: Wednesday-Sunday.

Location: Norrbyskär Museum, Hörnefors.

Start date: June 2026.
