SiS LVM Home Renforsen in Vindeln receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. The institution is tasked with providing care for clients with special resource needs.

Job Description:

We are currently looking for substitutes as kitchen assistants during the absence and holidays of regular kitchen staff. There is also the possibility of summer employment. The work involves participating in the planning, preparation, and cooking of meals for the institution's clients. There are approximately 25 portions for lunch and dinner. Most of the food is prepared from scratch. The work is done in collaboration with the chef and staff in other functions at the institution. In your role as a kitchen assistant, the following tasks may be included:

• Preparing salads and, if necessary, cooking meals
• Baking
• Setting up food, salads, and bread for self-service
• Washing dishes, cleaning, and performing self-checks, as well as ensuring good food handling according to current routines
• Unpacking goods, etc.

Qualifications:

The following requirements apply for the position:

• High school education, e.g., hotel and restaurant, or other education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working in a kitchen, e.g., school kitchen or restaurant
• Experience working with self-checks
• Experience working with special diets

Employment:

The position is a substitute employment as needed, with start date to be agreed upon. Work takes place during daytime Monday to Friday. There is an opportunity to work both longer periods and individual shifts during short-term absences. You will undergo a tailored introduction for your assignment.
