Then the role of a resource chef within the municipality might be exactly what you are looking for. Here, you will use your skills where they are needed most – while making a difference for both young and old diners.

YOUR ROLE

As a resource chef, you will work in various kitchens within the municipality – sometimes stepping in to cover absences, other times reinforcing the team during high demand. Some days you are part of a wonderful team, other days you are responsible for the kitchen yourself. Regardless of where you are, your task remains the same: to cook from scratch with care, quality, and taste in focus. You are part of a resource team that meets regularly to exchange experiences, gain inspiration, and support one another.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone with a chef's education or experience from a restaurant or large-scale kitchen. You are proficient in both hot and cold dishes, special diets, and hygiene routines – and feel confident handling large-scale kitchen equipment. Since we also work digitally, it is an advantage if you are comfortable using a computer.

But most importantly: you are a flexible, solution-focused, and service-oriented person who enjoys working independently but also functions well in a team. No two days are the same – and you like that.

To succeed in this role, you need good knowledge of Swedish, a B driver's license, and access to your own car.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

At the municipality's meal department, we serve approximately 10,000 portions of food every day to children, students, the elderly, and other citizens. It is a big responsibility – but also a meaningful task. Here, you will become part of an engaged team that is passionate about food, people, and making everyday life work.

As a resource chef, you will enjoy both freedom and variety in your daily life, and you will become an important part of creating meals that make a difference – every day.

The position includes a salary supplement of 1,600 SEK per month as well as travel reimbursement according to the municipality's guidelines. You will work during the day, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00.
