Job Description – Temporary Replacement in Purchasing Planning

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven person who can take full responsibility for the company's purchasing planning during a parental leave. The role requires both operational sharpness and a business-oriented, strategic mindset with a clear focus on balancing availability, inventory, and cash flow.

The assignment includes purchasing planning for several warehouses: a central warehouse in Sweden that supplies multiple markets in Northern Europe, as well as subsidiaries with their own warehouses in Spain, France, the UK, and Poland. Production takes place in China with approximately four months total lead time (production + sea freight).

The purchases are based on budgets and continuously updated forecasts, developed in close dialogue with the sales organization for each market. The forecasts often change and are rarely completely accurate, which requires the ability to independently analyze outcomes, use history, and make well-considered decisions.

The role involves ongoing contact with factories to ensure production according to the order plan, monthly order placement, and continuous adjustments of existing orders to optimize inventory levels. Cash flow is a critical factor, and the person must have a good understanding of how excess inventory affects the company's liquidity, especially in a business with high product values. At the same time, product shortages must never occur.

The work is business-oriented and requires flexibility. For example, containers can be redirected directly to customers to drive sales, which requires collaboration with sales, an understanding of the company's commercial focus, and the ability to see rapid changes as opportunities rather than problems.



We are looking for a person who:

• Has experience in purchasing planning with long lead times.

• Is used to working with multiple warehouses and markets.

• Has worked closely with sales and forecasting responsible.

• Is comfortable with uncertain forecasts and rapidly changing conditions.

• Understands the interplay between inventory, sales, and cash flow.

• Can contribute to development by questioning, structuring, and simplifying the purchasing process.



This role requires fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

This is a consulting assignment at 75% via Incluso in Mölndal. Start is in April, 6 months fixed-term assignment to begin with, with the possibility of extension thereafter. This assignment is 100% on-site in Mölndal.
