Maintenance Worker Needed at Byske Havsbad and Skellefteå Camping Summer 2025

Do you enjoy solving practical problems, taking responsibility, and ensuring everything runs smoothly? Then the role of a maintenance worker might be perfect for you. We are looking for someone who wants to help create a safe, well-functioning, and pleasant environment for our guests during the summer of 2025 – where your contribution makes a difference every day.

YOUR ROLE

As a maintenance worker, you will have a varied and responsible role where you ensure everything runs smoothly for our guests. You will conduct functional and safety checks, perform repairs, and keep the campsite in top condition through ongoing maintenance and cleaning. You will be responsible for ensuring that our common areas, such as playgrounds, beach areas, and barbecue huts, are always clean and in good condition. You will also assist guests with any issues that may arise during their stay, both regarding the property and service.

You will be available to provide excellent service to guests and answer their questions. The wishes and needs of our guests guide our work, and together we strive to provide them with the best experience possible!

The working hours are scheduled up to 100% and include evenings and weekends. The period extends from June 15 to August 16 (W25-W3).

We are also looking for cleaners and maintenance workers for the summer of 2026. If you are interested in any of these roles, you will be able to indicate that in your application for this position.

YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

To work as a maintenance worker, you need to be practical and handy. This may involve quickly fixing a broken door, repairing an electrical outlet, or ensuring that a barbecue area is ready for use – things that make a significant difference to the guest's experience. At times, the work can be fast-paced and physically demanding. You need to have a B driver's license for this position.

Since you will encounter many different people and situations, it is important that you are a confident and responsible person – this helps you build trust with both guests and colleagues. You also need to have a natural way of building relationships, as good communication and collaboration are crucial for creating a pleasant atmosphere and solving problems.

Flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset are other important qualities. The camping environment is dynamic, and unexpected situations often arise. You need to be able to think quickly, act calmly, and find practical solutions that make the guest feel well taken care of.

For all roles, good basic knowledge of Swedish is required. This means you should be able to understand and express yourself in everyday and work-related situations, verbally. You need to be able to communicate in Swedish with both colleagues and guests.
