About the position

Within the section for Neuro, Intensive Care, Cardiology, and Emergency Care, there are occupational therapists and physiotherapists who meet patients in both inpatient and outpatient care. We are now looking for physiotherapists for our neurology inpatient care. Here you will meet engaged and knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to work in a stimulating and multidisciplinary work environment.

As a physiotherapist, you will be part of a team where you contribute your expertise to meet the patient's needs for assessment and treatment, which may include work in inpatient care, rehabilitation, day care, and outpatient clinics. You will be an important resource for patients in the team regarding the assessment of neurological deficits, treatment of patients with complex neurological and neuromuscular diseases, as well as part of the patient's investigation in further treatment planning. You will work closely with the patient, focusing on ensuring as much mobility and quality of life as possible for each individual.

Full-time work and supervision of students are a natural part of your position. Your tasks will also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and the patient's needs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare

Meritorious:

• Experience working in inpatient or outpatient care with neurological patients
• Master's degree and/or specialist competence in neurology.
