Our Job Offer
We are a large group of occupational therapists working together at the hospital with patients in specialized outpatient care or inpatient care.
We are divided into 4 groups: one in specialized outpatient care and three in inpatient care. You will belong to the group for specialized outpatient care. You will receive a longer introduction based on your learning profile from your supervisors. You will also have a mentor and many colleagues to ask for advice. We have two specialists in Occupational Therapy who help us work systematically with improvement projects. We are a learning organization and see the importance of different perspectives being taken into account to move the organization forward. We do this, among other things, by having structured reflection with reflection leaders.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment where your assessment is important for the patient. You need to be confident in making independent assessments and sometimes work under time pressure.
As an employee at Danderyd Hospital, you will receive compensation for healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year, and access to the well-equipped staff gym, Lyftet, for only 800 SEK per year. Staff parking is available at a favorable price (30 SEK/day) and subsidized SL tickets. Soon, subsidized work shoes will also be introduced. The subway, buses, and Roslagsbanan are in immediate proximity to the hospital. If you prefer to cycle, that is also an excellent option. You will receive favorable agreements for parental leave, pension, and vacation.
Job Description
The tasks consist of meeting patients in specialized outpatient care in hand rehabilitation and rheumatology. In hand rehabilitation, you will meet patients individually and perform motor and sensory assessments of patients with traumatic hand injuries. In rheumatology, you will meet patients with rheumatic diseases individually and in groups. You will assess patients' activity abilities, plan, implement, and follow up on individual rehabilitation efforts, as well as manufacture and adapt orthoses.
Qualifications
You are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with a few years of experience in the role. We are looking for someone who works from a person-centered approach, has an interest in organizational development, the ability to work independently and systematically, and has good collaboration skills and experience working in a team.
It is advantageous if you have experience in the rehabilitation of traumatic hand injuries, fatigue/brain fatigue, or disease-related fatigue based on activity balance, acceptance, and a sustainable everyday life. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience leading groups and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals such as social workers and physiotherapists. It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of anatomy in the hand and upper extremity, experience in orthosis manufacturing, and further education in hand rehabilitation. Supervisor training and/or a master's degree are also advantageous.
