One of our colleagues in home rehabilitation is going on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a physiotherapist for a temporary position.

Rehab City is a results unit within SLSO, the Stockholm County Healthcare Region, an organization that values creativity and development. We consist of about 85 employees across three different clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation.

At Rehab City Norrmalm, we have a total of 35 employees, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropractors, administrators, and managers. Job Responsibilities:

As a physiotherapist in home rehabilitation within primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. The patients have various diagnoses and disabilities. We work both in home rehabilitation teams and with individual home visits.

You will work with functional assessments, assistive device prescriptions, and training in patients' homes and local environments. Our catchment area for home visits is Norrmalm and Kungsholmen. We primarily use bicycles as our mode of transport. A driver's license is therefore not required.

Employment Type:

Temporary position until 2026-12-31. Full-time 100%. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed physiotherapist with a bachelor's degree (180 credits), a master's degree is an advantage
  • Experience working in primary care is an advantage

Additional Information:

As you work in patients' homes, you cannot be sensitive to pets, smoking, strong odors, and other allergens that may be present.

You need to feel comfortable cycling in an urban environment.

  • background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
