The position is as a nursing responsible nurse at VoB Elingården.

Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule. Elingården is located in the same building as other care units, so you always have other skilled colleagues close at hand. You will be responsible for the care of 16 residents in the dementia ward and work in a nursing group consisting of 8 nurses. It is a safe and stable workgroup where several have worked together for a long time.

The Fruängsgården elderly home where Elingården is located is a pleasant workplace consisting of several units:

• Fruängsgården's care and nursing home consisting of 3 units:
• Karolinagården 32 apartments with a somatic focus,
• Elingården 48 apartments for dementia (which the position refers to)
• Fredrikagården 32 apartments for dementia

In the same building, there is also:

• Fruängsgården's service house 41 apartments,
• Axgården's care and nursing home 49 apartments, of which 17 with a dementia focus,
• Solkattens day activity/dementia with about 75 visits per week.

Collaboration occurs between these units, which are also in close proximity to each other. Service functions such as reception, alarm/operational responsibility, hairdressing, foot care, laundry, kiosk, and restaurant are available. Good communication with buses and the subway is available to Fruängen.

Your role

Elingården is now looking for you who are an engaged licensed nurse who wants to help develop the operations based on the city's, district's, and unit's goals. As a nurse, you are responsible for planning the care of 16 residents in the dementia ward and will work together with managers and colleagues to drive and develop the operations towards set goals. You should contribute to an organization with clear structures and good health and medical care.

You should be:

• Comfortable sharing your expertise within the group

You are expected to maintain close contact with your colleagues and the workgroup and will work together with the unit manager to follow up on the daily work and planning.

Your qualifications and experience

• Licensed nurse
• Experience/education in geriatric care
• Knowledge in cognitive diseases
• Experience from municipal health and medical care and Stockholm City is an advantage
