Do you want to work closely with customers, production, and business – and eventually grow into a sales role?
We are looking for an engaged Customer Coordinator who wants to be a central part of our sales team. As an employee at Plyfa, you will have the opportunity to work in a pleasant company with good development opportunities. We prefer that the job is performed at the Plyfa office, but there is an option to work from home a few days a week.
About the role
As a Customer Coordinator, you are a key person in the collaboration between customers, production, and sales. You are responsible for ensuring that business flows smoothly – from requisition and order to delivery and follow-up. The role is both administrative and business-oriented, with a clear customer focus.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage contracts, requisitions, and orders in the business system
- Follow up on deliveries, delivery times, transport, and volumes
- The role involves daily contact with customers regarding deliveries, deviations, quality, and production. Since the majority of our customer contacts are in English, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable communicating professionally in international contexts.
- Work closely with production planning to ensure that customer agreements are met
- Participate in the work with sales budgets and follow-up
- Follow up on payments, credit insurances, and FSC and PEFC certifications
- Contribute to product development together with production and quality functions
- Identify synergies between customer needs and the company's development opportunities
- Be involved in quotation work and, if necessary, support salespeople during customer visits and negotiations
Your profile
We prefer that you have education or have worked in forestry or wood processing, and if you also have professional experience in industrial manufacturing, it is an advantage. To succeed in the role, you need to be responsible, structured, and meticulous. You strive to provide the highest service to the customer in everything from contact to delivery and follow-up. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and customer-focused, who is unpretentious and has an easy time collaborating with others. The position will involve a lot of internal and external contacts, so it is important that you are a communicative and social person. You have an easy time adapting to new tasks and perform your work with precision and quality. You have good computer skills, and it is advantageous if you have previously worked in Monitor or another business system. You have a drive and a desire to develop in your role, with the ambition to eventually work your way into a sales role. For the position, it is required that you speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, and it is an advantage if you also speak German. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability.
