About Tekniska verken
As an employee at Tekniska verken, you are an important part of our vision – we are building the world’s most resource-efficient region. To succeed, we must dare to think innovatively and develop new, smarter solutions. We are a total of about 900 employees who thrive in a relaxed corporate culture characterized by our core values: driving, positive, and trustworthy. It is natural for us to embrace our employees' differences through an inclusive value base. We also believe it is important that our workplace reflects society and therefore value a balanced gender distribution and diversity.
About the role
The laboratory at Tekniska verken supports the group in producing necessary analytical data within drinking water, sewage, energy, landfill, and biogas production. In the role of laboratory technician, you will work with sampling, sample preparation, and chemical analyses. Other laboratory tasks, such as instrument maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of solutions, will also occur. You will receive a thorough introduction and work alongside competent colleagues while the analytical work is performed independently with a high level of accuracy and quality.
About you
We are looking for someone with a high school education in natural sciences or who has completed a technical foundation year, but preferably has started a university education in chemistry, biochemistry, technical chemistry/biology, or equivalent, where laboratory work is included. Experience from working in an accredited laboratory is meritorious but not a requirement. Since training in all areas takes a long time, we prefer that you have more than two years left until graduation or have an ongoing employment where you are seeking a long-term part-time position.
Furthermore, you need to have a good ability to understand instructions and work according to routines, as well as a very good ability to collaborate. You also have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Working meticulously and with a strong focus on quality is something you enjoy.
Other requirements
- Another main occupation of at least 50%, such as studies or other work
- Availability for work during the summer of 2026 (where it is especially important that you can work at the end of June, the majority of July, and the beginning of August)
- A driving license (B) is meritorious but not a requirement
We place great importance on personal suitability!
Other
You will be employed by OnePartnerGroup but work on-site at Tekniska verken in Linköping. You will work extra during the semesters with shifts between 4–8 hours (depending on your other schedule) and the work will take place during the day, Monday to Friday. During the summer of 2026, you will work full-time.
Please note that we cannot accept your application via email due to GDPR; applications must be submitted via our website. It is important that your application indicates that you have another main occupation. We apply competence-based recruitment, which includes testing tools as part of our selection process.
For questions, contact recruitment consultant Mikael Wetter at: [email protected] or phone: 0722-242477
Selection is ongoing, so do not hesitate to submit your application today!
