We are now looking for an experienced and well-established consultant for a senior consulting assignment in technical sales and Key Account Management. The assignment involves developing business and building long-term customer relationships related to advanced testing services for electric drivetrains and cell and battery testing.

In this role, you will act as the link between the customer and technical specialists. You will drive the dialogue, identify needs, and create business opportunities, while internal engineers and lab experts provide the technical depth 🔬

The assignment begins with a feasibility study where you map out new business opportunities and build a clear sales pipeline.

Your responsibilities

Conduct a feasibility study to identify new potential customers within the automotive industry and related technical sectors Identify potential customers outside the automotive industry Identify sellable testing assignments related to customer needs Present feasibility study results live to internal stakeholders within 4 weeks Proactively contact new customers and establish initial dialogue Create interest and drive early discussions around testing and verification needs Build and develop long-term customer relationships and key accounts Collaborate closely with internal technical specialists Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events 🤝 Contribute to proposals, customer suggestions, and business documentation

Requirements

  • Documented experience in technical sales, Key Account Management, or business development

  • Experience in electric drivetrains, testing or verification operations, battery systems, or advanced technical environments

  • Strong and relevant network, preferably within the automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1/Tier 2, development companies, or consulting firms)

  • Experience in driving early sales dialogues and understanding customers' business and technical needs

Desirable experiences

  • Understanding of testing methodology, test centers, or development labs

  • Background in the automotive industry or related technical areas such as energy, power electronics, or drive systems

  • Previous work as a consultant or in commercial roles with external customer contact

About the assignment

This is a full-time assignment starting immediately and lasting until June 30, 2026. The placement is hybrid with a base in Trollhättan and Gothenburg.
