Production Worker for Blank Drawing at Wire Drawing Plant

Fagersta Stainless is one of the leading manufacturers in the world of stainless steel wire rod and drawn wire. Our headquarters and production are located in Fagersta, Sweden. In our rolling mill, we produce approximately 50,000 tons of wire rod annually, of which about 10,000 tons are further processed into drawn wire. Fagersta Stainless is looking for a production worker for Blank Drawing at the Wire Drawing Plant.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operation of single benches for blank wire, including setup and adjustment of drawing benches according to the production plan, and monitoring of the process.
• Sewing and sampling of finished wire.
• Internal truck transport of wire and handling equipment.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also work with reporting production and the causes of operational disruptions and production downtime in various data systems.

About You

The ideal candidate should have a high school education and experience from similar work. You enjoy a varied and at times physically demanding job. Since you will also be working with reporting in various data systems, you need to have good computer skills. Forklift and overhead crane licenses are advantageous.

Additional Information

The working hours are currently two shifts with a 38-hour work week, with morning shifts Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and afternoon shifts Monday - Thursday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
