About the job

In the role of nursing assistant/steril technician, you will be responsible, together with the rest of the workgroup, for delivering safe and high-quality sterile products to our customers both within and outside Region Halland. You will also be part of one of our workgroups and work on developing our operations.

Main responsibilities:

Receiving and cleaning instruments.
Packaging and sterilizing instruments.
Post-checks and documentation control.
Preparing deliveries for customers.
Guidance in connection with LIA.

About us

The Steril Technical Unit is one of four units within the Operation and Intensive Care Clinic Varberg-Kungsbacka. The unit consists of three service points located in Varberg, Halmstad, and Kungsbacka.

Our team in Varberg consists of 17 steril technicians/nursing assistants as well as a department manager and a technical coordinator who share their working hours between the two units.

The main mission of the unit is to deliver sterile products to our customers within Region Halland as well as to our private customers.

Qualifications

You who are applying should be a trained nursing assistant or steril technician. Experience in sterilization operations is an advantage.

You should be good at collaborating but also able to work independently. As part of the team, it is important that you are engaged and can take your own initiatives. You should be service-minded and have our customers at the center. We expect you to be meticulous and quality-conscious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
