In the role of a nurse, you will work with both acute interventions and the care of patients with complex neurological conditions.

What Is It Like to Work Night Shifts with Us at 4C?

Working nights with us means becoming part of a stable, secure, and warm team where we support each other – every shift. The tasks are varied, and you will get to use your full competence.

We are responsible for the acute Save the Brain chain in northern Halland around the clock, which makes the work both meaningful and developmental.

At night, both nurses and nursing assistants work either fully night shifts or rotations. This creates a natural flow of knowledge between day, evening, and night – something that benefits both patients and the workgroup.

Technology and Future - We Invest and Lead Development

In 2025, the Cosmic journal system was introduced. To use Cosmic in the best way, there is a digital support called NOVA, and in this system, 4C is a pilot.

NOVA means you have the journal in your pocket – always close to important information. It creates security, frees up time for the patient, and helps us further develop our working methods towards even more patient-centered care.

We will also be a pilot department in AI-assisted fall prevention. You will thus be at the forefront of future working methods and contribute to safer, smarter, and more person-centered care.

What Am I Like as a Manager?

Being a manager is not always easy – but after almost 13 years at 4C, it is still just as fun and meaningful. I develop every day together with the business and the employees.

Presence is important to me, whether you work days, evenings, or nights. Therefore, we create forums to meet: morning meetings, night meetings, and joint development days.

I believe in trust, clarity, and participation. We need to know where we are headed, and we make the journey together.

About Our Workplace

On ward 4C, we primarily care for patients with Stroke, TIA, and neurological diseases. We also receive general medical patients. The ward has 21 beds distributed across three groups, with an average length of stay of 3.5 days.

We have a broad and engaged team: doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, and staff from patient-related services – and ward pharmacists.

At night, staffing consists of two nurses and two nursing assistants.

Scheduling is done in the TESSA system, where we take joint responsibility for covering the needs of the business and creating sustainable schedules.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. We value that you have good collaboration skills, a professional and humble attitude, and that you contribute to creating a good work climate. We strive to have the right person in the right place and therefore place great importance on personal suitability. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
