Welcome to contribute to our work towards our vision – to become the creative hub of the west coast.

The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life.

The Security Team and Night Home Care work to create safety, security, and good care for individuals in regular housing around the clock. Our assignments range from planned interventions to alarms, emergency situations, and collaboration with other actors. It is a complex and important task where you meet individuals in vulnerable situations and need to make quick and wise decisions with a professional approach.

Here you make a real difference – every day.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a professional and caring organization.

As an assistant nurse, you will provide care and social support to individuals in need of our services. You will work based on individual implementation plans and be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on interventions that promote the individual's independence, security, and well-being.

Your tasks will include:

  • Health and medical tasks after delegation
  • Documenting according to laws and routines (SoL, HSL, confidentiality) in our digital systems
  • Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues, alarm operators, and other professionals
  • Carrying out planned night interventions at home according to decisions
  • Receiving and addressing security alarms (prioritization, assessment, follow-up)
  • Assessing situations and collaborating with the alarm center, ambulance, or fire department as needed
  • Contributing to safety, continuity, and professional interactions in the client's home
  • Working systematically and following established routines for safe care and support
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the team and contributing to learning and development

The work is scheduled during nights and weekends, depending on the needs of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

As an assistant nurse, you need to have a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and a respectful approach. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident in working independently. Your engagement and sensitivity to the needs of others are crucial for success in this role.

We also expect you to have:

  • Approved assistant nurse education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • A driver's license is required for most of the home care services.
  • Good computer skills and documentation ability

We would also like you to be:

  • Confident in your interactions even in stressful or sensitive situations
  • Capable of making decisions and prioritizing
  • Empathetic and attentive in contact with clients and colleagues
  • Structured, responsible, and collaborative
  • Contributing to a warm and professional work environment

Experience from care and support services is an advantage. Experience with alarms, emergency situations, or night work is also an advantage but not decisive.
