The Workplace

We are now looking for substitutes during the summer vacation in elderly care - who want to work to simplify, improve, help, and create a safe everyday life for people who need support. There are opportunities to work as a nursing assistant or caregiver.

We would like you to be able to start working extra if needed already during the winter/spring.

The relevant operations are:

  • Home care in Nordmaling Municipality
  • The municipality's elderly home Strandbacken in central Nordmaling

Within these operations, there are both day, evening, weekend, and night shifts according to the schedule.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a nursing assistant/caregiver involves providing good care and support to our elderly and assisting them in their daily lives. You help our elderly with everyday tasks, activities, personal hygiene, and administer medication to those who need it. Delegated tasks from the municipality's HSL unit are included as well as ongoing documentation in our current operating system.

About You

You need to be 18 years old and we prefer that you have work experience and/or education in healthcare. To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You should be interested in working with people and be reliable, stable, responsible, and have good empathy. We also value good collaboration skills and flexibility. Personal qualities are highly valued.

For home care, you need a Class B driver's license and we prefer that you have access to your own car.

Employment

Temporary employment. Hourly wage. Employment levels vary. Start date according to agreement.

The summer periods last for eight weeks, from June 15 to August 9. We prioritize those who want to work both periods.

Summer Bonus

A summer bonus is offered to those who work as summer substitutes in Gräsmyr and Nyåker's home care. More information will be provided during the interview.
