Welcome to Berg Municipality - Municipality of the Year 2024!

Two-thirds of our population lives outside our urban areas, and we do not see the municipality's sparsity as a hindrance but as an opportunity! Here, magnificent nature is close at hand, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and an active cultural and community life. For those who want the city's offerings and communications, Östersund is just a stone's throw away. The South Sámi culture, reindeer husbandry, and language are an important part of the municipality's identity.

As an employer, all municipal operations rest on our five guiding principles; together, courage, effectiveness, communication, and sustainability. Our guiding principles are designed to be our compass and guidance, always promoting trust and a good organizational culture with the citizen in focus.

At bergsliv.se, we have gathered inspiring reports about people living in the municipality and facts about our urban areas. Welcome to find your dream life with us in Berg Municipality!

We accept your job application digitally via our recruitment system. If you have protected personal data, you should not send your application via the recruitment system. Instead, contact the HR consultant via switchboard 0687-161 00, and you will receive assistance on how to apply for work safely. We kindly ask for no contact with staffing and recruitment companies or job advertisement sellers.
