ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an operational buyer, you will work with the procurement of marine maintenance for surface vessels and submarines. You will handle all types of purchases, from engines to cables and systems. In close collaboration with project managers and material planners, you will work to provide the project with materials and components on time. You will be an active part of the projects and work a lot in the operations/production.

As a buyer, you will be part of a team with 8 colleagues in similar roles with different competencies and experiences. Here you will become part of a close-knit team characterized by helping each other. We believe you thrive in a role where you take a lot of responsibility and enjoy working in a context with much collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have completed a YH, university, or engineering degree in purchasing, supply chain, economics, or equivalent
• Have 1-2 years of experience in purchasing work
• Have an interest in technology and the defense industry
• Experience from the armed forces/military service is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We are looking for someone who makes things happen, takes responsibility and initiative in your role, and enjoys working closely with the operations in projects. As a person, you are humble and unpretentious while expressing your opinion and standing your ground when necessary.

The position is a consulting position where you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
