Onsala Home Care operates in a picturesque area just outside the city center.

We use electric cars in our operations and offer free parking if you drive to work. With us, you will be part of a professional and warm team where collaboration, respect, and joy at work are important guiding principles. We are about 40 employees with high competence, a strong sense of responsibility, and two unit managers who work with shared leadership to provide the best possible support in daily life.

The Role of Care Assistant with Us

Work in home care consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also work together with your colleagues with the care recipient's best interests in focus. In your work, you will meet people with different needs and work in their homes. The work includes practical assistance such as care, support during meals, and various activities, so you will work at a flexible pace. You will have the opportunity to perform health and medical care tasks according to instructions and delegation from a nurse, as well as documentation that is done digitally.

We work according to the Kungsbacka model, which is a new working method in home care that means we have shifted from a minute-based approach to a trust- and needs-based approach. You will also work as a fixed care contact where you, in dialogue with the care recipient, create an implementation plan based on the granted assistance decision.

You will drive a car in your service, and you will follow a schedule that will be allocated to day, evening, and every other weekend.

You love working with people, you are a joy-spreader who brings energy to your care recipients and colleagues. You contribute to the experience of safety by taking responsibility for tasks and providing a reliable and professional approach. As a person, you thrive in independent work and can adapt to changing circumstances while seeing the possibilities in everyday life. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained or studying care assistant
• holds a B driver's license
• expresses themselves well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care homes are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce to the desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected professional title.
