Zeppelin is now looking for a field technician/mechanic to work with Caterpillar engines and power solutions, primarily for data centers and other critical infrastructure. In this role, you will work independently at customer sites and be responsible for service, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and generator systems. The work includes both preventive maintenance and planned service interventions, as well as troubleshooting where you identify faults and apply the correct measures.

The position requires a good technical understanding of diesel engines and comfort in working with electrical systems at the engine level. You need to be able to read and understand electrical diagrams for engines and generators and document your work in a structured manner. Customer contact is a natural part of the job, and you are expected to take responsibility for the entire assignment from start to finish.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, solution-oriented, and enjoys a varied job in the field. Experience with Caterpillar engines is an advantage, but we also welcome candidates with a similar background in diesel or power generation. A valid driver's license (B) is required. On-call duty is included in the position, and travel is expected, which may involve some overnight stays in hotels each month.
