Description

We are currently seeking a nursing assistant/care assistant for a temporary position at Bredäng Department 2, weekend shifts.

At Bredäng's special accommodation, we have three departments. We are looking for someone with great commitment, teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, flexibility, and a forward-thinking attitude.

You should be a positive person who finds working with people stimulating. We want you to be communicative and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, as a large part of the work involves ensuring that our clients are understood and have their needs met.

All our operations are based on Värnamo Municipality's values MURAS: People in focus, Development, Respect, Joy of Work, Collaboration.

The working hours are scheduled on weekends, so-called weekend shifts. Some shifts may occur during the week.

Responsibilities

To provide care and service centered around the user's needs according to the assistance decision and implementation plan, with respect for the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination. The tasks also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

Completion of the care and nursing program or other education that provides nursing assistant competence, as well as good computer skills, or care assistant. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Delegation of medication.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title, and you must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant.

Before employment is finalized, a background check will be conducted where you must present an extract from the criminal record. In this recruitment, the extract titled “Check your own information in the criminal record” applies.

In your application, we would like you to attach a personal letter, CV, and an approved diploma as a nursing assistant or care assistant.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process.

Care Administration

We are responsible for our elderly, people with disabilities, and the municipality's home healthcare. The administration also works with rehabilitation and prevention to ensure that our citizens can live a good life throughout their lives.
