JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed nurse for night shifts within municipal healthcare.

The position is full-time for night shifts and corresponds to 31 hours per week, with weekend shifts every third week according to a fixed, rotating schedule. The work is primarily scheduled at night with fixed working hours.

The assignment is independent and qualified, where your clinical judgment is crucial for the safety and security of the patients.

You are responsible for providing safe and professional care to patients in both regular housing and special housing. Nighttime work places special demands on independence, prioritization skills, and the ability to make well-founded clinical decisions.

The work takes place within clear frameworks and with the support of established working methods and collaboration.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Making medical assessments and taking necessary actions
• Being responsible for medication management, wound care, and other nursing interventions
• Providing palliative care with a focus on safety, symptom relief, and dignity
• Working safely and preventively according to current routines
• Providing guidance and support to nursing staff
• Collaboration with colleagues, on-call doctors, and other healthcare providers as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Driver's license (B)
• Good ability to work independently and in an organized manner
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a nurse at night or in on-call operations
• Experience in municipal healthcare
• Specialist training in district, geriatrics, or psychiatry
• Experience in palliative care
