Markverkstad Norr is a department within the Army Staff, AST, with about 180 employees operating in Boden, Luleå, Arvidsjaur, Vidsel, Umeå, Östersund, and Sollefteå.

We perform service and repairs primarily for the Armed Forces' vehicles and equipment but also carry out work for government agencies and authorities.

Main Responsibilities

As a partsman, you will work with parts preparation, ensuring and quality assurance of documentation for parts ordering, and determining whether parts should be procured through internal or external parties.

You will initiate, monitor, and close customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes searching for and ordering materials, goods handling, and other inventory management as well as inventory maintenance. Various tasks with the Armed Forces' materials and material systems may occur.

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications

• At least a two or three-year upper secondary education in automotive technology or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer deems equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• Current experience in working with forklifts and inventory management
• Class B driver's license
