Your role

We are now looking for employees for our service workshop 1365 meters underground, where the main task is to ensure the operation of the electric wheel loaders and maintain efficient production in the mine. You will belong to the Kiruna Mine Rock Breaking section, where our department is tasked with maintaining and developing the machinery fleet to ensure high and resource-efficient availability and production.

Your primary tasks include repair and maintenance work on our electric and diesel wheel loaders in the mine, as well as inspection and decision-making regarding the operation of production areas and machines.

The work is varied with preventive and emergency repairs taking place in the workshop and out in the field in the mine. Together, we create engaged conditions for Loading to meet production goals by keeping the machinery fleet in good condition.

What you bring

To thrive in this role, you should have an interest in machines and enjoy working with problem-solving. You are meticulous, take responsibility for your work, and have a high safety awareness. You are proactive, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating with others.

• Driver's license B for manual transmission (requirement)
• Driver's license C (meritorious)
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (requirement)
• High school education is a requirement, preferably from a vehicle program or similar, or you have a burning interest in machines or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is meritorious
• Experience as a mechanic is meritorious
