Specialist Physician Needed at Nordmaling Health Center

The primary care area south consists of Tegs, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling health centers. These services are located at the Nordmaling health center.

At the Nordmaling health center, you will find a workplace with a big heart and good cohesion, working towards sustainable primary care in line with Wise Clinical Choices. We strive for a good working environment and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our progress. Our goal is to provide our approximately 6,000 registered patients with engaged care and a warm welcome. We now need to expand our medical staff with two specialist physicians to continue developing and offering people good care. We are looking for someone who finds this interesting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician with us, you will contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe and acknowledged in their interactions with you.

The work involves meetings with people of all ages, with various health-related issues. In the field of general medicine, you will follow an individual's different health problems over time and consider the person's entire life situation in your assessments. As a specialist, you are expected to support physicians in training in their ongoing work and provide guidance during designated mentoring time. You are also expected to be an active part of the physician group's and health center's meetings, dialogues, and improvement efforts.

On-call duties in primary care and primary care backup are included in the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a specialist physician in general medicine or in the final stages of your residency in general medicine. An interest in mentoring students and training physicians is important.

You are a present and positive person who, with knowledge and care, sees the patient and can adapt the care to the needs that exist. You enjoy collaborating and being there for others, both patients and colleagues. You function well in the working methods required in primary care and manage your workday based on the commitments expected of a specialist physician. You see opportunities and can handle your workday even when patient pressure is high by making independent decisions in the matters you face.

We require good knowledge of the Swedish language.
