Description

We are now looking for an occupational therapist as a summer substitute for our rehabilitation unit.

The rehabilitation team consists of seven occupational therapists and three physiotherapists who work with a person-centered approach to help individuals achieve increased independence, participation, and the best possible quality of life based on their own resources and abilities. The mission is to perform rehabilitative measures within the municipality's area of responsibility for people in ordinary housing, special housing for the elderly, short-term housing, as well as group homes and service housing within support for disabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks include collaborating in a team where healthcare professionals work together to provide good care, support, and rehabilitation. You will work with;

• Assessment and training of ADL abilities
• Functional and activity assessment, investigation, advice, and support
• Testing and prescribing assistive devices
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers
• Guiding and supporting relatives and care staff
• Writing certificates and assessments regarding housing adaptations
• Documentation

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience working within municipal healthcare and support for disabilities is an advantage. We value personal qualities such as social competence, flexibility, and a solution-focused attitude. The work requires you to be able to work independently and have the ability to make assessments and decisions. You also need to have the ability to plan and organize your workday independently and efficiently.

We place great importance on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and the ability to guide and motivate patients and care staff in a rehabilitative approach. You also need to have a good ability to communicate and document in writing in Swedish.
