Your Role

We are now looking for an engaged and driven production planner for our production in Karlskoga.

As a production planner, you are a key person in the work of detailed planning and following up on manufacturing plans. You are responsible for ensuring that plans are in place and adhered to according to established delivery times. The role involves close collaboration with operations, preparation, project management, quality, and purchasing to create an efficient and well-functioning production flow.

You will belong to our Business Unit Ground Combat and be based at the production unit in Karlskoga, located within the Bofors industrial area.

Your main responsibilities include, among others;

  • Managing manufacturing orders in IFS/MPS
  • Detail planning production based on a master plan
  • Material control and ensuring conditions for manufacturing orders
  • Follow-up on manufacturing orders and finances
  • Participating in various teams as a representative from the production logistics department
  • Engagement and participation in LEAN and daily management
  • Identifying and analyzing causes of arising problems to then take corrective and preventive actions

Your Profile

You are a curious, proactive, and self-driven person who enjoys juggling many tasks. You are good at structuring your work, providing a solid foundation for planning both in the short term and towards a longer horizon. We see that you, as a person, find it easy to build relationships and are clear in your communication. In improvement work, you possess high integrity with the courage to challenge and question current working methods.

For this role, we expect you to have a relevant high school diploma and previous experience in planning or similar tasks. You should have experience working with MPS systems, preferably IFS, and good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you have documented education in production logistics and experience in systematic improvement work, such as within LEAN.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
