About the assignment

Manpower is now looking for a production planner for a consulting assignment at Epiroc in Örebro. The assignment is full-time, starting as soon as possible, with a duration of approximately one year.

As a production planner, you are a central part of the team and are responsible for planning and following up the entire manufacturing flow of drilling rigs. The role is operational and close to the business, with a clear focus on ensuring that production planning is realistic, feasible, and maintains the flow from forecast to delivery.

You work closely with assembly and other production functions and have ongoing contact with subcontractors. A well-functioning flow of information between departments is crucial, and in this role, you act as a hub in the planning work.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and ensure the entire manufacturing flow for drilling rigs
  • Ensure the right assembly capacity and material availability in production
  • Work in the business system M3 to convert market forecasts into machine orders
  • Follow up on capacity, material, and production outcomes
  • Identify, analyze, and raise deviations as needed
  • Ensure that the production plan holds from forecast to delivery
  • Collaborate closely with assembly, other production departments, and subcontractors

Requirements

The role suits you who thrive in a planning role with a lot of responsibility and many points of contact. You work in a structured and analytical manner, have an easy time prioritizing, and are confident in making decisions even when conditions change.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience in production or material planning in a similar role within production or logistics
  • Experience working closely with production/assembly in an operational environment
  • Good ability to see the whole in flows from forecast to delivery
  • Experience with business systems, preferably M3
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Technical education or a strong technical interest, preferably related to machinery or manufacturing industry

A background check as well as alcohol and drug testing will be conducted before the start of the assignment.
