Working as a summer temp at Orkla Foods gives you great opportunities to gain valuable experience. At Orkla, we provide you with the chance to work in a safe and exciting environment while contributing to a better future together with others. Orkla Foods in Närke manufactures some of our Swedish classics, BoB juice, Risifrutti, rice porridge for Christmas, and the entire Nordic Fun Light!

We are now looking for engaged and driven Food Operators for both our factories in Kumla and Örebro during the summer of 2026. With us, you will work in a shift team whose task is to ensure a good and safe production or warehouse flow.

Job Responsibilities:

In the role of Food Operator, your main tasks will be to:

• Participate in ensuring that production and cleaning are carried out according to applicable routines and regulations.
• Check quality, labeling, and process parameters.
• Handle chemicals and high-pressure equipment in connection with cleaning.
• Participate in health, environment, and safety work.
• Ensure that we follow all our routines regarding food safety and hygiene.

To thrive in the roles, you need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while having good collaboration skills and appreciating being part of a team. Experience in similar tasks is an advantage, but the most important thing is your positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the organization's results.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech, writing, and comprehension
• Completed or ongoing upper secondary education
• If relevant, hold a work permit to work in Sweden

Having a B driver's license & forklift license is an advantage but not a requirement. Food safety for our products and your safety is our highest priority; therefore, the positions are subject to specific work clothing and other regulations to ensure you and our products!

The work is full-time and the working hours are daytime, 2-shift, or night shift starting from week 24 until week 33. If you are available before and after the specified dates, it may be an advantage.
