Job Title: Maintenance Technician (IIT2 – Maintenance Operations)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production environment through effective predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance. In this role, you will contribute to equipment reliability, ensure safe working conditions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our facility. Your efforts will play a crucial part in ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.

Mission

Perform first-level maintenance to maintain and repair machinery, building systems, and facility equipment. Complete maintenance tasks that require limited technical knowledge while helping to ensure smooth and reliable operations. Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement efforts within the entity.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production and manufacturing equipment. Apply standardized maintenance processes to safeguard safety, quality, availability, and cost performance. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance and production environment. Perform basic building and facility system maintenance tasks. Report potential health and safety risks to the Team Leader promptly.

Main Activities

Execute preventive maintenance in line with the established maintenance plan. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using known and documented repair methods. Maintain accurate data entry and updates in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Apply TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies to enhance equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs. Train production personnel to perform Level 1, 2, and 3 maintenance activities. Collaborate with and leverage complementary expertise from IIT3.
