About Us

Huset vid Stranden operates three established restaurants - Papas, Pepes Bodega, Mamas Italian - as well as the LOFT nightclub in the heart of Båstad. Here, quality, flavors, and personality meet in a vibrant and relaxed environment. During the summer, the pace increases significantly – the tempo is high and the guests are many. We work with professional pride, team spirit, and a strong commitment to the overall experience for our guests. Huset vid Stranden is part of the GRAM Group along with Hotel Skansen, Torekov Hotell, Hotel Riviera Strand, and Pavo. Together, we form three distinctive hotels and several restaurants in an outstanding destination in Båstad & on the Bjäre Peninsula.

About the Position

The position is a seasonal full-time employment from April to September starting on April 1st. Working hours vary depending on the business's opening hours. Day, evening, and weekend work may occur. Flexibility and a positive attitude are therefore crucial.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and distribute work for the dining room and bar together with the restaurant manager
  • Manage table bookings and plan events that activate Pepes Bodega
  • Optimize service together with other supervisors such as the kitchen manager and bar manager
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant, show them to their tables, and guide them through the menus
  • Develop and ensure service and flow
  • Handle any complaints
  • Actively work to develop the team and ensure all guests' experiences
  • Manage and control the cash register
  • Open and close the restaurant together with colleagues, including dishwashing and cleaning
  • Standard serving tasks such as taking care of guests at the tables, serving food, and preparing drink orders

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is over 18 years old
  • Has previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant
  • Has knowledge of food & drink
  • Can handle Swedish & English well in both speech and writing
