Spare Parts Person in Boden

About the Unit

Markverkstad Norr is a department within the Army Staff, AST, with about 180 employees operating in Boden, Luleå, Arvidsjaur, Vidsel, Umeå, Östersund, and Sollefteå.

We perform service and repairs primarily on the Armed Forces' vehicles and equipment, but also carry out work for other government agencies and authorities.

Markverkstad Norr delivers services according to customer requirements and is authorized for the maintenance of military airbase equipment according to the requirements in the Regulations for Military Aviation (RML V-6-B).

Main Responsibilities

As a goods receiver, you will work with the receipt and dispatch of goods, both from internal and external suppliers. You will monitor and finalize customer orders in our support systems. The work also includes searching for and ordering materials, customer reception, and other inventory management as well as inventory care. The tasks also include loading and unloading goods with forklifts and wheel loaders. Various tasks with the Armed Forces' materials and material systems may occur.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• At least a two or three-year high school education in vehicle technology or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Good computer skills
• Current experience in working with spare parts and inventory management
• Driving license B

Since the work involves collaboration and contacts with customers and colleagues internally and externally, it is important that you are service-oriented. You are meticulous and focused on high quality throughout the work process.
