About the position

We are currently looking for a property technician who will be based at our office in Södertälje. As a property technician, you will have an independent and continuous responsibility for corrective maintenance and operational issues for over 300 apartments in Vårberg, Gröndal, Sätra, and Bredäng. In this role, you contribute to the overall results of the region and play an important part in ensuring that Sveafastigheter lives up to its core values: long-term, innovative, present, and businesslike.

Your tasks will include, for example:

  • Receiving, managing, and addressing maintenance requests

  • Contact with our tenants

  • Routine inspections and troubleshooting for minor repairs and maintenance work (replacement of fridge/freezer/stove as applicable)

  • Ordering and following up on repairs and maintenance actions

  • Changing filters and general supervision of ventilation systems, heating systems, and heat pumps, as well as any plumbing work

  • Troubleshooting the property's technical systems, such as indoor climate, heating, and ventilation

  • Participating in energy efficiency efforts

  • Supervision and inspections of internal and external environments

  • Conducting apartment inspections.

About you

To thrive in the role of property technician with us, you need to appreciate the combination of service and property management. You enjoy creating a pleasant atmosphere and building trusting relationships with our tenants. As a person, you are solution-oriented and have a good ability to plan and structure your workday effectively.

Formal requirements:

  • High school education in technology, preferably with knowledge of plumbing/control and regulation and/or electricity

  • Several years of work experience in the property industry, construction, or related technical fields

  • Understanding of property maintenance/technology

  • Driver's license B

  • Basic IT skills and the ability to familiarize yourself with digital systems

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written

  • Basic knowledge of English, spoken and written.

We consider it an advantage if you also meet:

  • Previous experience with electricity, plumbing, ventilation, and appliances

  • Previous experience as a facility caretaker with knowledge of SBA

  • Experience with the property system Vitec

  • Previous experience in operations and maintenance.
